I’ve lived here my whole life — and I’ve seen what real help can do.
- Chance (Founder of Little Oasis Foundation)

My name is Chance Liganga, and I was born and raised in Arusha, Tanzania — the gateway to the Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro, and some of the most breathtaking safari experiences on earth.
But beyond the wild landscapes, I’ve always seen something else:
the quiet struggle of families doing everything they can to give their children a better future.
I launched Wildcation Safaris and Barafu Tours to share Tanzania’s beauty with the world — and to create jobs for my local community.
Tourism changed lives here. It put food on tables and sent kids to school.
But I knew we needed to go further.

I started the Little Oasis Foundation because I saw what happens when help actually reaches the people who need it.
I’ve seen children walk barefoot for miles just to sit in a classroom.
I’ve seen single mothers choose between school fees and food.
And I’ve seen what happens when they finally get support — they stand taller, smile bigger, and dream louder.
This isn’t about charity.
This is about hope with a plan — and action with results.
